Let’s Go Touring - OPEN Bookstore

    By Russ | July 7, 2009

Laura and I are excited to announce our first presentation on bicycle touring. We’re planning to do these across the country to inspire others to hop on their bikes and have wonderful adventures! We’ll be covering the basics on what kind of bikes work well, what to pack, how to plan a route, how to document your trip, etc., We’ll also talk about Adventure Cycling Association and have some sample magazines and maps for attendees to peruse.

It will be a short presentation followed by a lot of Q&A. We’ll also have our bikes there and all our gear so you can check out the sort of stuff we use while on tour.

Here are the details. Hope to see you there!

What: Let’s Go Touring - Planning Your First Bicycle Adventure

Let me know when you make it to Atlanta. Would love to meet you!
I’ll show you around Peachtree City, a very bicycle friendly town with 100 miles of trails. http://peachtree-city.org/
