    Trangia Stove
Our favorite stove. We've been using it for over a year and love it - small, reliable, indestructable.
    JustMobile External Battery
Our secret middle-of-nowhere electronics-charging device. It can keep the iPhone charged for a couple days.
    Shimano 12-36 Cassette
Excellent cassette for fully-loaded touring. The lowest possible gears currently on the market! (We use on our 26" and 700c LHTs.)

    Farewell, Xtracycle.

    By Russ | May 11, 2009

Just a quickie update. My Xtracycle has been sold and is on its way to starting a life with a new owner, who also happens to be a photographer/cinematographer as well. Pretty cool. We chatted for a while and I’ll cut up a vid in a day or two.

Aside from the Xtra, he also picked up a few other parts I was selling. It was nice to unload the stuff to someone that will put it to good use. It’s funny to note that the less immaterial this life becomes (the apartment, the couch, all the plates and books) the more realistic our next life seems to be (the traveling and vagabonding).
