  • Thank you for the kind words. It was great having you both visit for a bit.

    One memory that sticks in my mind was riding with Russ while he would shoot photos, looking through the view finder, riding with no hands. Just thinking about, I am pretty sure I would end up with some sort of vertigo and crash.

    The rewarding part for me as a designer was when he hopped on the Rambler, and did the same thing. A bike that handles fairly differently than their Vayas, with a handlebar bag full of camera gear, yet was intuitive enough for him to pull of the same trick.

    Think about that when you look at the shots of us rolling on our ride up the coast. That is the most genuine feedback I could ask for.

    I look forward to crossing paths again this spring.

    nice report! Rob’s done a great job putting together an integrated bike that has the capability to make trips to the market but also long day and overnight rides with friends.
    FYI, his larger sized bikes use 700C wheels. The low trail design is a winner for these and many other uses.
