VIDEO: The Crooked River

Updating from an awesome pizza shop in Baker City, OR – Paizano’s Pizza. Internet/electricity has been far and few between the last few days so trying to catch up on some updates. Check out our latest video about our first night of camping on this trip! We left Bend, OR and camped a riverside site on the Crooked River.

Fantastic concept, video and then making it happen…what a wonderful idea to promote biking, sustainability, small mom and pop shops and the simple life. Our family (Tamsin, Jack 8, Harry 5, Abbey 2)will be following your adventures from Sydney-good luck! and thanks. It shows us and our kids what is possible in this way fast world (as we wait for summer break and our own adventures).

I’ve been following your Brompton adventures with keen interest for quite some time as a fellow Brompton traveller. I notice you are now using Gregory packs on the rear rack. Could you tell us what model/capacity these are and why you decided to use them rather than the setup from the Brompton gear video? Do you still use the Clikstand for cooking or something else? Perhaps an update on your gear, sorry, i’m an ultralight gear geek!! Best of luck on your travels.

Heh guys. Great to watch this video and good to see the journey underway proper. How many miles are you trying to do each day? Hope Laura’s ankle is holding up. Looked a fabulous location at the campsite. Thanks for the update. :-)
